About Ikaika Sports
Ikaika Sports has been operating since 2016 as an international sports management and sports marketing agency dedicated to the long-term development, protection, and professional representation of elite athletes. From its inception, the agency has carried forward the memory of the late Zane Branson, our colleague at the International Athletics Consultancy, who tragically passed away following a heart attack in Kenya in 2015. His values – integrity, responsibility, and a principled approach to athletics – remain firmly embedded in the foundation and daily operations of Ikaika Sports.
The agency is led by Executive Directors – Davor Savija and Nikola Stanic of Belgrade, Serbia; together with Julien Di Maria of Paris, France, who serves as Sports Coordinator and Head of Coaching & Scouting. Ikaika Sports is headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic, and operates globally through a carefully built network of trusted colleagues and long-standing professional relationships.
Ikaika Sports provides full-service athlete management, encompassing strategic career planning, competition scheduling, visa processing, international travel coordination, and the distribution of sports products. Athletes represented by the agency collectively record approximately 200 individual competition starts worldwide each year, reflecting both global reach and consistent presence at the highest levels of competition.
One of the central pillars of Ikaika Sports’ work is the identification, education, and systematic development of young talent, with the objective of preparing the next generation of world-class middle-and-long-distance runners. While based in Prague, the agency’s operations are international in scope. The combined professional experience of the team exceeds 150 man-years in the sports agency business, ensuring continuity, institutional knowledge, and a long-term perspective for athletes and partners alike.
Ikaika Sports is firmly committed to the continued professionalisation of athletics and maintains an uncompromising stance on integrity and governance. The agency is a strong advocate of rigorous anti-doping compliance and consistently calls for deeper integration of the Athletics Integrity Unit and the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya into training environments and management structures.
Athletes represented by Ikaika Sports have achieved nine World Records, won nine medals at senior and junior World Championships, secured one Olympic medal, and recorded numerous top-three finishes at major road running events around the globe. These results reflect a long-term, athlete-centered approach rather than short-term performance cycles.
Ikaika Sports serves as a consultant to adidas Running on the adidas Marathon Athlete Development Program, contributing expertise to the identification, preparation, and progression of elite marathon talent within a structured and sustainable framework.
Beyond competition and performance, Ikaika Sports maintains a strong commitment to social responsibility and the wider athletics community. The agency actively supports African charitable initiatives, including Tirop’s Angels and the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, and is proud of its long-standing cooperation with World Athletics Athletes’ Representatives – Michel Boeting and Wataru Ogushi.
